Intel announced Atom processors for mediaphones

Intel Company has presented four new processors of family Atom, informs Electronista. They concern series Z500 and are intended for installation in mobile devices and various electronics, including the automobile. Specially for use with new processors Atom company Intel announced new type of devices - a media background. Last represents the intermediate decision between smart phones, mobile Internet devices and netbooks.
The media background, in representation Intel, is equipped by processor Atom of series Z500 and the 8,9-inch touch screen. The volume of flesh-memory of the device makes eight гигабайт, operative memory - one gigabyte. Also the media background is equipped by five USB-ports, sockets Ethernet and HDMI. By means of a media background it is possible to leave in the Internet, to look video on YouTube and to call both through cellular communication networks, and through the Internet. Chips Atom Z510P and Z510PT work with frequency 1,1 GhZ. Frequency of processors Intel Atom Z520PT and Z530P makes 1,3 and ones and a half GhZ accordingly. Power consumption of processors does not exceed 2,2 watts. Chips Z520PT and Z510PT can work at temperature from a minus 40 to plus of 85 degrees of Celsius. Processors Z510PT and Z530PT in one and a half time less than the usual chips Atom used in netbooks. Their size makes 13х14 millimetres against 20х22 millimetres at netbook variant Atom. Deliveries of new processors Atom will begin spring of current year. Cost of chips is not informed.
