Intel says AMD breached patent licensing pact

Intel has threatened the basic competitor AMD with deprivation of the licence for microarchitecture x86 within 60 days, transfers Reuters. Intel it is dissatisfied with that AMD has created enterprise Globalfoundries for manufacture of chips and considers that these actions violate conditions of the agreement on cross-country-licensing of technologies, the prisoner in 2001. AMD earlier was initiator of antimonopoly trials concerning Intel in Europe, asserting that last abuses the leading position in the market.
