Zeebo- New game console

On action Game Developers Conference of 2009 companies Qualcomm and Tectoy announced the new game console under name Zeebo, writes GamesIndustry. The device will be oriented to emerging market economies. Developers calculate that the console will be in demand in Brazil, Russia, India and China. Prefix Zeebo can output a picture in the permission 640 on 480 pixels. The device will be equipped by three USB-exits and the slot for memory maps of format SD. All games for Zeebo will extend through networks 3G and EDGE. Specially for this console network tools under name ZeeboNet will be created. The device will be supported by such publishers and developers as Electronic Arts, Activision Blizzard, Capcom, id Software, Namco and THQ. Games for the new console will cost on 10-20 percent (approximately for 2-3 dollars) more expensively, than piracy copies. By word creators Zeebo, the prefix will quit in Brazil in the end of May - the beginning of June of current year. Console cost in this country will make 199 dollars. On an official site of the device it is informed that complete with Zeebo four games will be delivered: FIFA 09, Need for Speed Carbon, Brain Challenge and Prey. One more project (the first part Quake) can be downloaded free of charge through a network. Further the library of games will be enlarged as the games which have quitted rather recently (such as Resident Evil 4), and old enough projects (for example, quitted in 1996 fighting Tekken 2). In the end of 2009 Zeebo should appear in Mexico, and in 2010 start of game system in India will take place.
