First virtual world for iPhone: Sparkle 3D

The Tokyo company Genkii announced Sparkle application which becomes the first virtual world developed for iPhone and iPod Touch, writes TechCrunch. Virtual world Second Life became a basis for the new program. Genkii has already released Sparkle IM application for dialogue through networks Second Life and OpenSim, tools for creation of the virtual worlds. The following program, Sparkle 3D, will allow to travel on completely three-dimensional world. Sparkle 3D will get own economic system. Users can change appearance of "houses" and characters, and also to communicate with other players. In Sparkle 3D, it is possible to buy the virtual goods and to download games. In future Sparkle 3D will be ported to other platforms the version for PlayStation Home, in particular, is expected.

The creators of BlackBerry will open mobile applications shop

RIM Corporation developed smartphone BlackBerry, announced store mobile applications App World, which is similar to Apple App Store, Google Android Market, Nokia Ovi, and other stores.
Commercial applications in the App World will cost a minimum of 2.99 dollars (2.75 euros in Europe), says Engadget. The basic payment system would be PayPal. According to information on the site, place the program in the shop will be able to developers of most of the world, except for Belarus, China, Cuba, Iran, North Korea and others.

While the App World to run only in the U.S., Canada and Britain, the store will use the English language. In the future, service will transfer to the French, Italian, German and Spanish.

BlackBerry devices are widely used not only conventional, but corporate users. In particular, they provide instant e-mail exchange secure communication channel.
