New PSP console will get slide screen

New model PSP will go on sale in the end of current year, writes Eurogamer referring to a source close to company Sony. Journalists managed to find out that portable console will really lose UMD slot. Besides, PSP-4000 will differ from the previous versions of game system presence of slide screen. As informs an anonymous source, in the closed condition gamers cannot use the majority of buttons PSP. In the opened kind the console will not differ on functionality from PSP-3000. Journalists underlined that the sizes of the screen will not change. Representatives of company Sony have refused to make comments on this information. We will notice that it any more the first hearings about new model PSP. In the end of February this information was confirmed with the founder of game Earthworm Jim David Perr (David Perry). As he said, Sony will refuse from UMD-Slot, and will extend further games through own network service. Gamers can write down them directly on flash card PSP. It is already known that the Japanese division of the company searches for people for testing of the new device concerning trade marks PlayStation or PSP. Thus developers do not specify, on what they work at the moment. The first model PSP left in Japan in the end of 2004. To the middle of February of current year Sony it was possible to sell all over the world 50 million portable game systems. Thus PSP still takes the second place in the market of portable game systems, conceding DS. According to company Nintendo data, by the end of last year it has been sold 96,22 million these consoles.
